Every year, the OK Dept of Libraries asks our libraries for data, stats, financial info and more. The Annual Report, or State Aid Report, gives the state valuable info on how libraries spend state aid, how many people went into the library, how many books were checked out, and so many other details.
ODL passes some of that data on to IMLS. We use what we learn to serve and work with libraries better. The report helps us see if libraries are up to the standards set in the state aid rules and regs. (pdf)
This year, Reports are due August 17 for municipal libraries and October 1 for systems.
